Blogging vs. an HTML Website

When I first started online a few years ago, I learned html to make my websites, and that’s how I made all my websites.  Learning html was not that hard once you really sat down and studied it.  There are places all over the net to help you learn.

For some reason, I was afraid to learn how to use a blog on wordpress.  I had some long distance friends of mine show me how to do it, actually they walked me through it by email and the telephone.  After that, I was hooked, now I make all my websites strictly with wordpress.

I still use html to make pages for my blog when I need to.  I usually open up my html editor put in what I need, add it to my blog an viola, at the push of a button, it is up!

I just find blogging so much easier once it is set up.  With all the templates and plugins you can pretty much do anything you want with a website.

HTML websites are great if you need one, or are a large company that needs one, but I will stick with my blog and of course Google likes them too!  You can still use a static front page if you like and stll have a blog.

Blogging I have found to be a very powerful arsenal in my internet business.

What are your thoughts on utilizing a blog?
