The Best Spinner Is Live!

Jonathan is always preaching about how unique content is not
REQUIRED to rank well in Google.  And that’s absolutely true –
it’s not REQUIRED.

But it’s certainly EASIER to rank unique content than duplicate
content, especially in Google.

That’s because Google has made it clear that they will only display
one copy of a particular article in the search results for a given
set of keywords.

That means, for instance, that if somebody searches for
“blue widgets”, and both you and a competitor are trying to rank
the same article about blue widgets, only one of those two articles
will be shown — whichever one has the most links aimed at it,
usually.  If your article isn’t the most linked, your article is
nowhere in the results.

However, if both you and your competition have different articles,
then even if your article doesn’t have quite as many links as
the competition, you still have a chance of showing up just below
the other article.  So, if they are #1, you can be #2.

That doesn’t happen with duplicate content.  That’s why Jonathan
usually recommends RANKING unique content.

So how does one create unique content easily?

Well, almost since creating web content has been profitable,
folks like Jonathan have been working hard to create tools that
will stretch your time out — more unique content in less time.

One method of doing this has been by using content spinners.
A spinner is simply a tool that will take one article and turn it
into many articles.  It does this by using some formatted text for
input.

Here’s an example:

See Scott {run|walk|jog}.

That text, when run through a spinner, would generate the following
sentences:

See Scott run.
See Scott walk.
See Scott jog.

Many spinners employ a thesaurus that makes it easier to select the
alternative words you want to use.

Run a full, spin-formatted article through a spinner and it will
kick out dozens or hundreds of unique articles.

The PROBLEM with these spinners is the thesaurus that comes with
them.  They’re really, really lousy.  So lousy that you often spend
more time trying to find good synonyms than it would have taken to
just think up a few yourself!

Well Jonathan created a spinner that’s very different.

You see, it has a built-in thesaurus that was created over a period
of years by hundreds of people actually spinning and creating unique
content.  That has resulted in a thesaurus of over 120,000 words
AND PHRASES.

Yes, Jonathans’ new spinner has two and three word phrases in it, too!
It’s smart enough to replace groups of words, not just single terms.
You have to see it in action to realize how thorough it is and how many
awesome synonyms and alternative phrases it has available.

The interface lets you add terms you want to use as well.  Those
terms are then inserted into the thesaurus and EVERYBODY gets to
use them.  That means that as the system grows to hundreds or
even thousands of users, the thesaurus will get bigger and better!

The Best Spinner is brand new and in the beta stages.  It’s very
straight-forward and easy to use.

How it works is simple:

1. Paste your article into the box, select the synonym “quality” to
use (All, Good or Best) and click “Start Spinning”.

2. Hold the CTRL key and select all of the terms you want to use as
alternates for each word presented to you (it should make sense
when you see the interface what I mean). Click the [+] hyperlink to
add a new word or phrase into the list.

3. Use the Prev/Next buttons to move through the sentences of the
article and select the alternates you want to use.

4. When you’re done, click ‘Generate Spin Text’.

That will show you the spin-formatted text which you can use
however you want.

Also, from that screen, you can generate up to 100 spun versions of
your article and have them sent to the browser or to a ZIP file for
downloading.

The spun-version generator is also available separately by clicking
the ‘Generate Articles’ link at the top of the page. So if you
already have spin-formatted text and just want to generate the
articles from it, you can.

The spinning interface only creates a single level spin
(e.g. {a|b|c|d}, not {a|{b|c}|d}), but the Generate Articles tool
supports nested spinning, so it can generate spun versions from
nested text.
